WARNING: Really Long Post

So it is officially time for an update.....I am sure I will leave out a few key things that have happened since my last post, but such is life. I will go from most recent to least recent because at least the most recent are still in my head. : )

Today is August 18th, 2011--5 years ago today (at about 4:30pm)Brandon and I were married in the San Antonio, TX temple!!! We were sealed by his grandfather, it was really cool. I am so happy I married him. Life is by no means perfect, but I know I married the right guy in the right place at the right time. All of life's other details and stresses will work out, and like other things they will work out in the Lords time and not mine. lol

Engagement 2006

Feeding the cake, we were nice to each other.

Love this man!!

Last week we went to California for my brother in-law and sister in-law's wedding. I have known Tyson longer than I have know Brandon (Brandon and I met because Tyson and I worked together). I am so excited about my new sister and seeing how happy she makes Tyson. Their wedding was beautiful and it was my first time to California. My mom was amazing and spent the 4 days and 3 nights with our son here in TX so that he did not have to deal with all the wedding travels. He was not an angel for her, but they still had fun. She took him to his first visit to a pet store, she taught him what a goldfish says, and he plays chase a lot better than he did before she was here. It was a HUGE blessing for her to take care of him.

The day after we got back from the wedding (August 15th) we found out that Brandon's grandma Burch passed away. She had been having a few heart problems, but was doing better and from what I understand was pretty much back to "normal" but that morning while looking at her garden she had a heart attack and passed away. She was a wonderful woman and I enjoyed getting to know her while Brandon and I went to school in Idaho. She leaves behind 6 children, 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She will have had one daughter and two grandchildren welcome her into spirit paradise. If you want to read her full obituary feel free to click this link. I am grateful for the time I had to know her and for the legacy of faith that she left behind.

The week before the wedding we got to go to one of the most exciting doctors appointments when you are pregnant, the full anatomy sonogram!!! We found out that we are expecting a little girl!! We are very excited and we were pretty sure she was a girl anyway...it is just nice to know that your instincts/feelings were right! As of now we are going to be naming her Aria Diane Stucki her name together means Song/Melody (Aria) Divine (Diane). I can't believe I am more than half way done with this pregnancy. It is so different having a baby and being pregnant, but this is how it is going to be for every child-crazy busy and time flying by faster than it used to. Here are pictures of our little girl!! (I love saying that)

The last weekend in July I went to visit my parents. It was a wonderful trip. My mom took me to the movie 17 Miracles it was really good. We also went to the pool, bowling and just had a lot of fun! Ethan loved it too and I got to sleep in because my mom would get up with Ethan and my dad put him to bed every night! It was awesome! Here are some pictures from the trip.

July 18th Brandon turned 27. We decided this year since we got a good tax return that we would do each others birthdays really nice. Brandon totally spoiled me on my birthday so with what we set aside for each other I planned us a weekend get-a-way in Houston (a 3-4 hour drive from where we live). There was an orchestra concert called Distant Worlds that was performing and it was a concert Brandon had wanted to see for a long time. The concert was amazing! Such beautiful music!! We went out to eat at a wonderful Seafood and Sushi place for lunch (amazing food and GREAT menu prices) we will definitely go back to that place next time we are in Houston. We also went to the Houston Aquarium and we got to have a great dinner on Sunday with some of Brandon's cousins. It was a very nice little weekend and it was so great to have Brandon's parents take care of Ethan while we were gone. Here are some pictures!
